The RATA customer app was developed to accompany patients throughout their entire treatment journey. Through an interactive dashboard, users can monitor the status of their aligner production, wearing schedule, and smile transformation progress. Regular notifications help users stay on track, while the live chat feature allows direct communication with the RATA support team. The app also offers smile progress videos and stage-by-stage documentation to keep users engaged. With an intuitive and user-friendly interface, the app enhances the overall digital experience—making it a key companion in delivering practical and reliable modern orthodontic care.

Challenge

As the first clear aligner brand in Indonesia, RATA faced a significant challenge in introducing a new dental technology to a market still accustomed to traditional treatment methods. They needed a digital system that was not only educational but also simplified the user journey from initial discovery to ongoing treatment. Additionally, communication between patients and the care team had to be both efficient and personal, ensuring users felt supported throughout the months-long process. Another challenge was creating a seamless and intuitive digital experience across two platforms—website and mobile app—to accommodate users with varying digital habits.

Solution

Technopartner Indonesia designed and developed a comprehensive digital system for RATA, encompassing both the website and the customer mobile application. The RATA website serves as the primary onboarding platform, with an educational and informative flow that helps users understand the aligner service, complete the initial survey, and proceed with ordering and payment independently. On the other hand, the customer mobile app acts as a digital companion throughout the treatment process. It features aligner production status tracking, usage schedule reminders, smile progress reporting tools, and integrated live chat for seamless communication with the RATA team. The entire solution was built with a user-friendly UX approach, delivering a more practical and transparent experience while supporting RATA’s mission to bring healthy smiles across Indonesia.

Journey - Progress

Provides users with full transparency and control throughout their aligner treatment process. Users can view the real-time status of their order, from payment confirmation to the production stages of their aligners. With a visually appealing and informative interface, users can also track key milestones such as payment verification and estimated shipping dates. This feature is designed to offer peace of mind, simplify progress monitoring, and build user confidence throughout their smile transformation journey with RATA.

Journey - Notify

The Journey – Notify page provides important reminders for users to switch their aligners on time. The system displays detailed information about the current aligner position, start date of usage, and the estimated date for the next replacement—both for upper and lower teeth. With a simple yet informative visual layout, users can track their daily progress and ensure each treatment stage stays on schedule. This feature helps maintain consistency throughout the dental care process to achieve optimal results.
